In the early 2000s a lady and her pre-teen daughter became my patients. She did not like me and did not follow through with care for herself, but she did bring in her daughter whom I was able to help with various health problems. The lady, who was a Christian and attended a Spirit-filled church, told me one day that she had asked for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit many times but had never received it. She asked me on several occasions to pray with her for the Holy Spirit. I finally asked her to come in after office hours so my wife, Gerri, and I could pray with her.
The appointed evening came and we prayed that Jesus would baptize her in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. No sound came from her mouth. We kept praying in the spirit and out-loud but got no response. Then suddenly weird sounding words in a voice that was not hers came out of her mouth. I asked who was speaking. The voice said it was the spirit of Jezebel who had lived in this lady since she was molested at age 5. We cast the demon out in the name of Jesus and she immediately spoke in tongues. Praised be Jesus!
Gerri and I are sponsoring a Bilingual Miracle Crusade in a Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas from Friday, December 28, 2007 through Wednesday, January 2, 2008. We are following the format that has been successful in Pakistan, India and Nigeria – praise and worship in their native language, gospel preaching in English with simultaneous translation and praying for the sick with signs and wonders following. We are going to do this every night for 6 nights at 7PM. We are targeting our wonderful patients who have trusted us with their and their family’s health. In addition to the huge auditorium, the Convention Center has two classrooms which we can use for prayer meetings and teaching bible business principles. We can use the facilities during the day prior to our opening to the public at 6:30 pm. The 6 days are December 28, 2007 through January 2, 2008. Please come!
