Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Before the Lord saved me in July of 1970, my searches for spiritual truth lead me to study many religions which ultimately made me feel like I was headed to hell. It is amazing to me that even false religions can expose our wickedness. Prior to giving my life to Christ, I decided that I would try to get along with people by a philosophy of live and let live. In other words, you do your thing and allow me to do mine.

The end result of that philosophy was a wrecked marriage and havoc in my life. Although I had finished my degree and received my chiropractic license, I was unsuccessful in every goal I attempted. After my divorce, I was so depressed that even the people who loved me could not stand being around me. My brother and his wife moved from Houston to Wisconsin to get away from me.
After the Lord saved me and baptized me in the Holy Spirit, I learned to rely on the saving power of the blood of the Lamb and began sharing my testimony. I found that as I prayed in tongues, I was building up my spirit with Holy Ghost boldness to proclaim the word of God and to testify boldly of the problems and failures I had, prior to receiving a Savior in my life.

I learned to give my testimony of a failed life without Christ and the awesome difference my Redeemer’s grace has made in my life with Christ. As I give my testimony I have seen people’s lives changed direction from hell to heaven, from failure to joy and peace. I want to encourage you, businessmen and women to share your testimony after you have prayed in tongues. You will find that the people around you will be blessed and that you will be filled with joy.

We all need to recall with gratitude where the Lord found us and be willing to share our testimony with the people we encounter every day. We need to see people being saved, encouraged and transformed by the word of our testimony. By praying daily and giving our testimony, we can avoid becoming complacent and judgmental in our Christian lives.

So, go pray in tongues and ask the Lord to give you opportunities to help others overcome Satan with the Blood of the Lamb and the word of your and their testimonies. Get excited about what Jesus has transformed in your life and share your testimony today!
