PRAYER—GOD’S MIGHTIEST WEAPON

Prayer activates God’s power in the world. To a prayerful man God’s presence is a tangible force in the spiritual realm or his world. The man or woman who has prayed many acceptable prayers has performed a great service to future generations. By praying in tongues in agreement with Jesus Christ, we can impact present and even unborn generations who can live outside the destructive waves of sin and evil that could have been assigned to them.

Prayer is God’s preferred method and singular choice to move His Son’s kingdom forward. Therefore, the believer who is the most highly skilled in prayer will do the most for God. Believers are to pray to be used to advance the causes of God in every opportunity. The secret of success in Christ’s kingdom is in the ability to pray, frequently and without ceasing.

A book I continually read over the years that motivates and exhorts me to pray is E M Bounds on Prayer from Whitaker House, 30 Hunt Valley Circle, New Kensington, PA 15068. The anthology contains seven books written by E M BOUNDS who lived from 1835-1913. You can order it from your Christian bookstore. If you have prayed today, go pray some more for those unsaved future believers who are as dear to God’s heart as we are.
