About 3 years ago Oral Roberts spoke at Cornerstone Church. He said he had had three visitations from the Lord over a 5-month period. The Lord had impressed upon him to bring an urgent message to every church that would let him speak. The Lord’s message was that the Lord wanted all pastors and Christians to pray in the spirit and to pray in the spirit out loud as a congregation.
In the 1970s every church and at most FGBMFI meetings I attended, pastors, speakers and congregants spoke in tongues out loud. It happened in banquet halls, in the basement of Catholic churches, in Pentecostal and non-Pentecostal churches. Tongues were the hallmark of the renewal we all experienced.
The Lord wants to revive His people with His Spirit. So go pray more – out loud in tongues.
